 Gurudeva looks at the color proof of the cover for the India edition of Weaver's Wisdom, the Tirukkural. His book team has been working very hard to get everything ready to send with Paramacharya Bodhinatha, who leaves for India in two days.  Evening class with Saravananathaswami. They were reading from the pamphlet published by the Ramakrishna Mission called "Raising Spiritual Darlings," as part of the monastery's on-going study and research into of positive discipline of children. Aside from learning how we can raise children in a better ways, these studies have the added benefit of teaching adults a great deal about basic human behaviour, how we can all become better people and have positive relationships with others  Sadhaka Jivananda, our photographer, says, "This is amazing! Wonderful!"   This morning Paramacharya Bodhinatha gave the Acharya discourse in the temple.  He spoke about getting rid of the "We" and "They" mode of thinking about people, by which we make divisions between ourselves and others.  A wonderful couple from New York came on a pilgrimage. Mr. and Mrs. Naidu from Long Island, New York. They were here last year and Gurudeva gave them a big bag of vibhuti. Recently, when Mr. Naidu was in the hospital after a heart by-pass operation, he was unconscious until his wife arrived. She thought he didn't recognize her. . .but then he reached out and asked her "pottu" and she looked in her bag and found some of the Vibhuti that Gurudeva had given them. When she put it on his forehead he says he was suddenly at peace. They are very grateful for Gurudeva's presence in their lives.   Sadhaka Japendranatha is Acharya Kumarswami's right hand man on the book team and has been doing a great job getting the pages together to send to India.  Our two senior monastics Paramacharya Bodhinathaswami and Acharya Palaniswami. Year 2000 March Caribbean Innersearch Taking Reservations Now Gurudeva says, "Come with me to the Caribbean next March, on the Year 2000 Innersearch. Besides our wonderful study together, we are planning a gala gathering of Hindus in Trinidad for one day." We will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on March 24th and return to Fort Lauderdale on April 4th and be traveling on Holland America's spectacular, brand new cruise ship, the MS/Volendam.
