The spirit of the day is cleaning up the subconscious. Today we shared with our Kashi Ashram brothers the practice of Vasana Daha Tantra. Take the experiences of the past that are stuck in your mind, and write them down on a piece of paper. As you do so, the emotions from the past will be re-experienced, then burn the paper, not in a homa fire, or dundi, but in an inauspicious place, like a regular fire place, garbage can, a big pot or outside on the ground As you do so, the emotions from the experience will be released. As the Veda says we cannot undo the past, but we can change ourselves and the past's impressions on our minds and thus remold the future. "Like the waves in great rivers, there is no turning back of that which has previously been done."
